If you are looking for land with a specific resource you will need to go to the Buy Land page by clicking on this button on the menu at the top of your screen if on a desktop pc.
Alternatively if you are using a mobile device find it in the drop down menu accessed in the top right hand corner of your device.
Now select the view "Heatmap > Resources > " and then the resource you are looking for such as Diamond.
You will now see on the map small icons in the locations where this resource can be located.
Please note that this heatmap is rarely updated so other locations do exist that will be added to the map in time.
Now zoom in to see the properties that have been allocated this resource.
When selecting tiles to purchase please note that you are not guaranteed to get the resource on your property if you buy next to other properties that have it.
It is wise to try and buy between properties that have it to increase your chances, rather than on the outskirts of the area.
Make sure that when you buy your tiles that you purchase or upgrade to the correct tier. Some resources can only be mined on Tier 1 tiles. Visit the
Ecosim Requirements page for details about each resource. In this example you can see that Diamond can be mined on both Tier 1 (T1) and Tier 2 (T2) land:
Please also note that NO RESOURCES can be mined on Tier 3 tiles and upgrading them can be expensive and cost a lot of essence. Look at the tile prices in the area to see how much the upgrades will cost before purchasing your land. You may find other locations on the map are more affordable.
After purchase it can take a while for the resources to show on your property. They usually appear after about 48hrs.
