Raiding: How do I identify raid targets?

A good raid target has the following properties:

MENTAR

The target must have a mentar on it. You can find out if this is the case by clicking on the target property and look at its properties in the panel on the right:

The mentar icon  tells you that this property has one. If this is not present then the property cannot be raided.

TIER 1 OR TIER 2

The property must be Tier 1 (T1) or Tier 2 (T2). This is shown as an icon next to the mentar icon .

Tier 1 targets are better than T2 as they produce more E-ther. T3 properties cannot be raided as they cannot have a mentar.

LARGE PROPERTY

Larger properties produce more E-ther than smaller properties. As a result the bigger the target the better.

PROPERTY IS INACTIVE

If a property owner collects their E-ther every day then their properties will have no unstable E-ther that can be raided.

To get good raiding results you need find properties that have been purchased by plyers who do not regularly log in the Earth2.

One way you can do this is to click on the owners icon at the bottom of the map to view their profile:

In the profile you can see how many properties they own. If this number is low (e.g. under 100) then it is likely that they do not log in very often. Users with tens of thousands of properties are likely to log in very regularly.

Another sign of inactivity is to look at the date of their last purchase. You can sort their properties by "Purchase Date" and see when they purchased their last property. If this was years ago then they are likely to be inactive.

Ideally find a spot with a number of potential raid targets nearby before buying land (min 4 tiles) in the area as a raid base.

If one of these players turns out to be active you still have a good chance of success with the others.
